How did you think the Crocodile Hunter would die? What do you think would have killed him?
Many were shocked at the sudden death of Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, but it was bound to happen sooner or later. But the way he died was what was a real shocker, I never thought a stingray would be the cause of his demise. I always assumed he would die by a Croc Crikey! It just goes to show you never know when, where, or how you'll die, we only know that death is certain. Hey, at least he died doing what he loved, he'll be missed by many and remembered by all. RIP Crocodile Hunter!

- I never thought of him dying...he was so happy and full of life that the thought of him not being around anymore never crossed my mind....poor steve
- Personally before he died I would've thought you were right. One of the crocs were bound to out smart him. Law of numbers.
- I thought just old age.
- i feel sorry for his family though his kids grow up without a father bet if he saw it comming he would of never did it. would of stopped while he was hot. but things happan. i never thought he would die from anything exept old age not by what he loved doing
- luv doberman is an uneducated idiot. His child was safe in his arms, THE CAMERA ANGLES that were broadcasted, ESPECIALLY in America, did Steve Irwin no justice, in other shots u clearly see the baby is 2-3 metres away, the stunt was also choreographed, AS IF YOU CAN BELIEVE WHO WOULD ENDANGER HIS CHILDREN.. !
- I thought he'd get chomped.
- i so thought he would die of old age because he was very knowledgable of animals he will be missed RIP
- I always believe he would have died by a crocodile biting his leg or arm off. He was a great guy!
- I'm shocked but at the same time, I'm not surprised because of his line of work. Steve worked with dangerous animals ALL THE TIME; whether they were venomous snakes or tempermental crocodiles. It wasn't a matter of IF, it was a matter of WHEN he would die. But I'm also shocked that this was quite sudden. After all, he wasn't bit by a brown snake or got mauled by a croc. He was killed when he swam too close to a stingray and it flipped its poisonous barb straight into Steve's chest and pierced his heart. Now stingrays are not known to be aggressive creatures. They're known as the "pussycats of the sea." However, if they feel threatened, they will flick that little barb on the end of their tail at anything trying to get to them AND they can inject that little thing into ANY ORIFICE on any living thing. In fact, Animal Planet's show "The Most Extreme" said that stingrays do have the ability to put their stinger in someone's chest cavity, invoking instant death. Even though he was a bit crazy, I liked Steve. He was so passionate about animals and wanting to save them from poaching and habitat destruction. It's as if God called him to save Earth's precious creatures. Granted, I didn't like it when Steve would toy around with an angry cobra (who obviously wanted to be left alone), however, it left me with a greater appreciation for snakes like cobras because they eat rats and other rodents that cause disease (farmers in India use them to keep rats from their crops). RIP Steve; you will be missed. Terri, Bindi, and Bob, you are all in my prayers.
- i never thought about him dying.
- I thought that he would die while making love to Terri. Lying on the ground near a river...butt up for a deep downstroke and "Crickey" - a big croc would grab him by the danglee doo and drag him into the water, leaving Terri there to finish herself off.
- I thought it would be a croc!
- He was not a bad man. HE knew his baby wasn't eveer in danger. He loved his wife and family. He was a great guy and funny.
- his two children
- i know...he was kinda cute!!!!!
- may he rest in peace
- I was shocked ! I'm gonna miss him !
- i will never forget the image of steve irwin talking to the camera while sharks were in a feeding frenzy all around him while he stood in the water...the guy was a crazy kook but he was fascinating, funny and very entertaining...i kind of felt one day his luck would run out the way he took risks dealing with wildlife but i would never have guessed it would take a stingray to be the culprit....my condolences to his friends and family....he was one of a kind and his legacy will continue as his shows run on animal planet
- I really believed that Steve would live a full life and take time in the future for more enjoyment with his family. God knows he was full of energy. I feel sad for his family, that he's left behind...it's gonna be really hard emotionally on them. It wouldn't surprise me that one of his children grow up and follow in their father's footsteps. RIP...we'll miss you too!
- STING RAY DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Violently, from one of his many conquests, I assume.
